Decision makers are any two of the following:  Pastor, Associate Pastor or Deacon Chair.  When a decision is made to close a church service or close the church office, the following will occur:

1.  The announcement will be forwarded to the local TV channels (18, 27, 36).  First Baptist Church, Richmond, will be indicated if an activity is cancelled.

2.  A message will be recorded on the church office's answering machine. Call 623-4028 to listen to the message.  Specific information can be heard by immediately pressing 500 to be directred to the cancellation mailbox.

3.  Information regarding any closings will be posted on the home page of this web site, as well as our Facebook Fan Page and Twitter.

Generally, when public schools are closed, church activities during the week will also be cancelled.  Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.
