Stewardship God's Way: (No Cost) This timely study will help us to become aware of the Biblical teachings on the subject of stewardship. Because of the prosperity of the past two decades stewardship has not been taught in many churches. Now we are reaping what we did not sow. God's children are in spiritual bondage, deeply in debt, and churches are struggling financially. Stewardship ...God's Way will help individuals to use Biblical principles in handling the Kingdom resources God has entrusted to us. To provide members opportunity to give to God and allow opportunity to see the potential giving available in our church, we asked that each member carefully consider participating in our "Firstfruits Sunday" on Sunday, May, 4. On this day, we asked each member to consider giving one week’s worth of 10% of their income as an undesignated offering to God through First Baptist. If you are paid monthly, you can give 10% of your monthly income. If you have not been giving before, please consider taking this step of faith and give 10% of one week’s household income. If you have been tithing at 10% of your income, prayerfully consider any additional giving the Lord may provide for you or lead you to give.
