We, the staff at First Baptist Church Learning Center, understand the gift of babies and children and take seriously God’s call to care for and demonstrate His love to these precious children. Our prayer is that it becomes apparent just how much we love children and desire their safety and security while they experience Christ’s amazing love at First Baptist Church Learning Center.

The Learning Center is governed by the First Baptist Church (FBC) Learning Center Council which consists of the FBC Children's Ministries Director, the Learning Center Program Director, a Learning Center Teacher, two Learning Center parents, four FBC church members and two independent community leaders.  The Council meets monthly to discuss and evaluate the center's needs, goals and how to achieve them and to give guidance and support to teachers and parents.  The Learning Center uses a Bible-based age-appropriate curriculum for each class.

The Learning Center seeks to provide a safe environment that promotes health, age-appropriate development of the whole child. The program will provide a balance of hands-on experiences that guide and encourage cognitive, motor, social, emotional and spiritual growth. With the knowledge and understanding that children progress at different intervals we encourage an individualized approach to classroom activities and structure. In addition, the ministry of the church is extended to The Learning Center in order to strengthen and provide support to the family as a unit.

We have three programs at the Learning Center:  a Mother's Day Out for 1's & 2's as well as Preschool for 3's & 4's.  This year we have added a Kindergarten class!


The Class Schedule is below:
1's:     Monday or Tuesday  9:00 a.m. - Noon

2's:    Monday/Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - Noon  OR
          Tuesday/Thursday   9:00 a.m. - Noon

3's & 4's:      Monday/Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  OR
                    Tuesday/Thursday   9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.   

4's & Kindergarten:     Monday - Thursday  9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


Fee's, Tuition and Late Fees
Registration Fee:  $50 per child ($30 per additional child)
Supply Fee:  $60 per child
Both fees listed above are non-refundable.

Tuition:    1's - $60 per month
               2's - $100 per month
               3's & 4's - $150 per month
               4's (four day) - $275 per month
               Kindergarten (four day) - $300 per month

All tuition is due by the first of each month.
A $20 late fee will be assessed after the 8th of each month.
