The to be... women's ministry began in the Summer of 2003 with the vision to give the women of First Baptist the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian lives by participating in a supporting and encouraging mentoring friendship. This intergenerational ministry has touched the lives of women all throughout FBC calling them to a stronger more passionate relationship with their Lord Jesus Christ.

It's as much time as you want to spend. We ask that you meet at least every 2 weeks for 1-2 hours, but you can meet every week if you like.

How long is this program?
Each relationship is matched for 6 months.
The Biblical foundation for this ministry came from the following scriptures:
"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and chlidren, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." Titus 2:3-5
