"Adore God" OpportunitiesTo lead people to adore God through worship.

Experiencing God
Most Bible studies help people; this one changes them forever. For more than 15 years, God has used Experiencing God in His work, showing believers how to know Him intimately while encouraging them to step out in faith and join Him in His work - with miraculous results. God has more work to do - will you join Him?

Worship: Believers Experiencing God
All believers can benefit from learning what it is about worship that really matters to God. This resource can help guide your church to remember the true and proper focus of worship.

Seven Words of Worship
Presents simple, foundational truths about biblical worship that helps believers encounter God in unique ways. This 8-week study combines Bible study and biblical narratives with real-life stories and practical and personal applications to help clarify and process the material. Key Scriptures reinforce biblical truths central to the study and help learners hide God’s Word in their heart.

"Love All People" OpportunitiesTo lead people to Christ, church membership and care for their needs

Sunday School
Sunday School is the foundational strategy at FBC for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and for building on-mission Christians through open Bible study groups that engage people in worship (Adore God), fellowship (Love all People), ministry (Invest in God's Work), discipleship (Value God's Word) and evangelism (Expand God's Kingdom).

A Trusted Friend

Did you know that a church member could actually be the one best-equipped to minister to a person during a time of need? This study doesn’t pretend to offer the training, supervised practicum, skills, or license to provide expert professional care. What it does promise is to help participants develop a heart of compassion, learn to listen more than talk, and identify the root of a problem.

Facilitators: Eric (582-3042) and Phyllis Fuchs (582-2934)

"Invest in God's Work" Opportunity: To equip people with the skills they need for ministry

The Body Life Journey
The Body Life Journey process connects new believers and church members to the church body, grows disciples through continuing discipleship, and guides people into ministry areas. It is an intentional discipling process that includes orientation, assimilation, gifts and relational style discovery, and identification of ministry opportunities based on giftedness.

God's Transforming Word

Learn how to study your Bible and make it a part of your day-to-day life!

Living by the Book: The Art and Science of Reading the Bible

Father and son authors believe practicing effective, inductive Bible study methods can make the difference in one's Bible study experience. This will be an extensive but rewarding, study that will require a significant time investment outside of class to complete assignments to get the most out of this study.

Step by Step through the Old Testament
This study, a foundational 13-week class, provides a framework for understanding and interpreting the Old Testament, and teaches biblical background material.

Step by Step through the New Testament

This study, a foundational 13-week class, provides a survey of the message and important events, people, places and themes of the New Testament. During this study you will build a framework for understanding and interpreting the New Testament and gain an understanding of Biblical background.

Baptist Faith & Message
This study examines in detail the 18 doctrines outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message statement. Combining biblical insight with historical and contemporary illustrations, the authors help you understand essential Baptist beliefs, identify the biblical foundation for these beliefs, and apply the beliefs to your Christian walk.

Bible Study with the Pastor
Facilitator: Bill Fort, Pastor
Location: Sanctuary
Date: Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

"Expand God's Kingdom" OPPORTUNITIESTo enlist people in the worldwide mission of sharing Christ

On Mission with God
God reveals Himself to us so we can adjust our lives to His. He wants to reveal His glory to a waiting world through us. The only way He does that is when we completely allow Him to manifest Himself through us. As we experience God on mission, we do not choose our assignments. He does. Our ultimate goal is to allow God to reveal Himself through us as He did through the people of the Bible.   A natural follow-up to “Experiencing God,” this study provides a wealth of biblical understanding that will help learners as they seek to join God on mission. The study focuses on how Abraham, Moses, David, Peter, Paul, John and Jesus in His earthly ministry did so, and how their lives became radically different because of it.

Share Jesus without Fear
The revised edition of this popular evangelism resource, presents a simple and relational approach to witnessing that underscores the dependence of God’s power for the results. Birthed out of the radical life-transformation of its author (former brothel-owner turned Christ-follower), method teaches believers how to navigate a witnessing conversation in everyday situations.
